At their second meeting within the framework of the seven thematic clusters, the NRP 80 research groups presented and discussed their interim results.

In autumn 2024, the 25 research groups of the NRP 80 met for the second time in the seven thematic clusters. On this occasion, the research groups presented their respective interim results and discussed them with each other and with the stakeholders involved.

Between September and November 2024, the clusters ‘Youth and Education’, ‘Governance and Economy’, ‘Family and Law’, ‘Work’, ‘Wellbeing and Cohesion’, ‘Public discourse’ and ‘Social security’ assembled for their annual meeting. The seven cluster meetings were moderated by members of the NRP 80 Steering Committee and were aimed at discussing the initial research results, exchanging views on challenges and identifying common ground and potential synergies.

At several of these meetings, the researchers were able to discuss their initial findings with representatives of the federal administration, NGOs and social partners. These specialists enriched the discussions with their experience and helped to further strengthen the practical relevance of the individual research projects.
