The one-hour lunchtime workshop will explore how the skills required on the Swiss labour market have changed since the Covid-19 pandemic. It is intended for university students but is also open to the general public. During the workshop, experts from the industry and researchers from the National Research Programme “Covid-19 in Society” (NRP 80) will provide information on current developments in the Swiss labour market. The workshop also offers a good opportunity to network with experts and ask questions about career opportunities and current trends on the labour market.

With the participation of:

  • Cornel Müller, Board of Directors, x28 AG
  • Felix Busch, Head of Data & Analytics, x28 AG
  • Alberto Marcato, Postdoctoral researcher in Labor Economics, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI)

Fabrizio Colella, Assistant Professor of Economics at the USI, will moderate the event.

Both Fabrizio Colella and Alberto Marcato are researchers in the NRP 80 research project “Covid-19, trade and work”, which focuses on comparing the Swiss labour market before and after the pandemic. They will present initial research findings at the workshop.

The event is co-organised by USI Institute of Economics and x28 AG and is supported by NRP 80.
